Chinese swimmer’s swimsuit makes her look like she has a really tiny waist at Paris Olympics

Those who tuned in to the Paris Olympics women’s 100m breaststroke finals yesterday (Jul 30) might have noticed that one athlete was serving more than skills. 
Chinese swimmer Tang Qianting, 20, clinched the silver medal but has gone viral for one other reason. 
While preparing for her dive into the pool, Qianting, who wore a mint green and blue Speedo swimsuit, was seen blending seamlessly into the background of the arena.
In amusing trompe l’oeil fashion, the blue on the sides of her one-piece turned out to be a perfect match with the wall behind her. 
With only the green visible, Qianting looked as though she had a super tiny waist. 
The clip was later shared on TikTok by user @adamclayton_, with the caption: “You better cinch that waist.”
Netizens were equally entertained by the illusion, with the top comment reading: “Olympic or Ozempic.”
For those who don’t know, Ozempic is antidiabetic medication which supposedly helps a person lose a significant amount of weight.
It has gotten plenty of attention lately on social media as celebrities and influencers have been taking it to induce weight-loss. 
Other netizens were also reminded of Violet Chachki, an American drag queen and burlesque performer, who is best known for her 18-inch snatched waist. 
Some recalled “doing a double take” while watching Qianting prepare for her swim, while others said they “burst out laughing” once they noticed the illusion.
